What We Do

At SAPTA, we are dedicated to empowering smallholder farmers, women, and youth through specialized agricultural services. Our primary focus is on capacity building, equipping farmers with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to improve productivity and sustainability in agriculture. Through tailored programs, we provide expert guidance on best agricultural practices, innovative farming techniques, and strategies for climate resilience.

Our Project

SAPTA implements a range of internally funded aimed at strengthening sustainable agriculture, food security, community livelihoods, and climate resilience in Tanzania. These projects respond to the real challenges faced by smallholder farmers, including climate variability, soil degradation, high production costs, limited access to markets, knowledge, and appropriate technologies. Through the promotion of agroecological, climate-smart, and regenerative farming practices, SAPTA supports farmers to improve soil health, increase productivity, and build resilient and profitable farming systems. The projects apply nature-based and low-cost solutions, combining local knowledge with practical innovation to ensure long-term impact at community level.

By working closely with farming communities, local stakeholders, and development partners, SAPTA’s projects contribute to national agricultural priorities and the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), while fostering sustainable food systems that benefit both people and the environment.

This project has truly changed my life.”
